Margaret (Mag) Black-Scott - President and CEO 

Margaret (Mag) Black-Scott is the founder of Beverly Hills Wealth Management LLC, a Registered Investment Advisory firm. Formerly she was a Managing Director and Vice Chairman of Morgan Stanley & Co.
 
Mag was born and educated in England receiving a diploma in Business Administration from Rotherham Technical College, England. She earned her MBA at Jacksonville University, FL. and completed post-graduate work at Wharton, University of Pennsylvania, and Harvard Business School.
 
She was adjunct Professor at Jacksonville University, teaching both credit and non-credit courses. She has given financial and estate planning seminars all over the country, and is a past recipient of the coveted “EVE” Award as Jacksonville’s Business Woman of the Year.
 
She presented a daily television program on financial affairs in Los Angeles, California for 2 years. In Jacksonville, she was Business Editor of Channel 7 (PBS) and made regular guest appearances with WJXT TV Channel 4, a CBS affiliate at that time.

John D. Stuart - Chief Information Officer
 
John D. Stuart is Chief Information Officer of Beverly Hills Wealth Management. He was born in Oregon and educated in Southern California and Madrid, Spain. He graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University with a degree in Management Information Systems. He received an MsBA with an Information Decision Systems concentration from San Diego State University. He has also completed coursework in Europe emphasizing international business and language studies.

John is a strategic thought leader at Beverly Hills Wealth Management. He is responsible for the design, implementation, and execution of Information Technology, Process, and Operations. His reach and range throughout the firms eco-system is both internal and client facing, including responsibilities for the Business Development Model with special focus on compensation, profitability, and change management.
 
Prior to his role at Beverly Hills Wealth Management, John spent five years working in both the IT group and Office of Business Management at Morgan Stanley. Most recently, John was the Regional Business Manager to the Southern California, Hawaii, and Nevada markets.
 
He is a recipient of the San Diego City Joseph C. Larson Entrepreneurial Scholarship, Fermanian Business Center Scholarship, and Presidential Scholarship in San Diego. He has held the title of Public Relations Officer to the San Diego Chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery.
  


Steven Stahlberg - Western Division Director
 
As a 31 year industry veteran, Steve has had a successful career as both a High Net Worth Financial Advisor and in Management.  His last Position was with RW Baird as the Western Regional Director where he established their West Coast Retail presence. Before that Steve was a District Director for Morgan Stanley, a Major Market manager for Wachovia, and started his long, successful career as a Financial Advisor in 1981 with E.F.Hutton & Co.
 
Steve is a native Californian and graduated from California State University at Sacramento with a degree in Business Administration.  He currently is The Vice President of the Loomis Basin Educational Foundation and President of The Del Oro Jr Eagles Basketball Club. Steve enjoys his time away from the business coaching youth basketball and playing golf and tennis.
 


Andy Fass - Western Division Marketing Director

As Western Division Marketing Director for Beverly Hills Wealth Management (BHWM) and Director of Public Agency Financial Advisory (PAFA), a division of BHWM, Andy brings 15 years of management experience and 25 years of Financial Advisory experience to the position. In his current position, Andy will oversee Sales and Marketing for BHWM and PAFA, and will support the Business in recruiting and building the BHWM Advisory network.

Prior to joining BHWM, Andy was Senior Vice President and former Branch Manager for Robert W. Baird & Co. Prior to that he was District Sales Manager with Morgan Stanley, overseeing sales, productivity, marketing and training for 26 branches and 370 Financial Advisors. Formerly Andy was with Wachovia Securities where his managerial duties included the supervision of all sales, marketing, operations and support functions for the 8-branch Sacramento market.

Andy has a wide and varied background in the investment arena. He specializes in financial management and consulting for various types of governmental organizations. His knowledge of the government codes and regulations provide a vital resource for the clients of the group.  Andy shares his knowledge by writing articles on strategies for retirement, estate planning for high net worth individuals, charitable planned giving, corporate pension and profit sharing planning, and non-qualified deferred compensation planning for both non-profit and for-profit organizations. In addition to designing and implementing planned giving and major gift development programs for local and regional non-profit organizations, Andy has held workshops to train and educate Executive and Development Directors in the finer points of Planned Giving.

Andy holds a Master’s of Science Degree in International Relations form Troy State University, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Hofstra University. Andy is a Lt. Colonel (Ret) in the United States Air Force Reserve and has over 3,000 flying hours in various combat and support aircraft.

 

Bob Peirce

Robert Peirce - Advisory Director
  
Bob Peirce. Los Angeles-based consultant, who served as a diplomat in China, Hong Kong, Africa, the United Kingdom and the United States. He was the secretary in charge of external relations in the Hong Kong government in the 1990s. He drafted the policing reform proposals following the 1998 peace agreement in Northern Ireland.
 
 
 
 
 



John Wise - Advisory Director

John set up InvestCloud LLC in 2009 having established him self a serial entrepreneur in securities industry technology. Wise, B.Sc. (Double Hons), C. Eng is responsible for creating 5 companies. He started his career in a research role for International Computers Limited, and quickly was selected by Citibank executives in the launch what is now Temenos. John teamed up with his brother to create his first independent software company 'Synergo Technology,' which in five years became the UK leading Agency Brokerage solution with c.40% of the market volume, and in addition was the UK market leader for Institutional Net Settlement with c.90% of the market's customers. Synergo was sold and then John created, TCA Syntec (the first EAI company in Europe), before starting Netik EAI as an international financial messaging and integration company.
 
In 2009, John continued his research into the opportunities of Cloud computing that would change deployment models and the creation of Cloudonomics. John’s belief was application teams could be small if the vast majority of code could be written in metadata and deployed through the cloud. He with partners decided to found InvestCloud LLC to address this opportunity, and within 3 months using their metadata engine launched a community testing / stock broking game in the Cloud (www.PlayMyMillions.com). In 2010, InvestCloud formed a partnership with The Conifer Group and created InvestCloud Solutions. InvestCloud Solutions is the first company to provide investment management solutions of this type in a private cloud. John received a double honors degree in Cybernetics and Computer Science, and is a Chartered Engineer.

 

 

Charles Black - Advisory Director
  
Mr. Charles Black began his career at Hughes Aircraft. His career led him to be the Senior Vice President and Treasurer at Litton Industries (NYSE). He was later recruited to be Executive Vice President and CFO of Great Western Financial Corporation (NYSE). He next was called by Kaiser Steel Corporation (NYSE) to the positions of Executive Vice President, CFO, and then President of Kaiser Steel International. Mr. Black was also a Public Governor of the Pacific Stock Exchange for 21 years, a Director of six of the largest Capital Group Mutual Funds, and an executive for ten other companies in military and commercial markets.
